SERVICE AGREEMENTS

We aim to always provide the highest quality service, to be on time, and to give your pup all the attention and love they deserve. With that in mind, we ask that you respect our booking policies so that we can focus all our time on your amazing dog.

24 Hour Notice / Confirmations / Cancellations

We kindly ask for a minimum of 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your grooming appointment.

As a courtesy reminder, we will send you a text confirmation the day before your scheduled appointment. Please confirm appointments in a timely manner when you recieve the auto text or email (approximatley 2/3 days before appointment). Appointments that have still not been confirmed within 24 hours of their appointment time will be contacted by phone. If we still cannot confirm the appointment at this time, the company reserves the right to cancel the appointment. This is to avoid "no shows" which are very costly to the company as well as makes appointments available to our waiting clients.

  • Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice will require a deposit of $35 before your next booking.

  • No call/No show will require a $50 fee, plus a $35 deposit that will go towards your next grooming.

  • Habitual cancellations will result in Lovedog no longer offering our services.

Service Agreement

Pets are accepted for grooming only under the following circumstances....

  • The pet is fit and healthy, Grooming which takes place on an elderly or infirm pet will be at the owner's risk. Grooming may expose pre-existing health\skin conditions for which Lovedog LLC cannot be held liable.

  • The pet's rabies vaccine is up to date (as required by law) unless otherwise discussed.

  • In the event of an emergency, in your absence, you authorize Lovedog LLC to contact the nearest Veterinarian and authorize the Vet to treat the pet as necessary at your expense. 

  • Payment is to be made at the time of service. Payment can be cash, Apple pay, or credit card.  Nail cutting and ear cleaning are part of the service unless the process is too stressful for the pet or too dangerous for the groomer. 

  • We do NOT offer anal gland expression, as this should be performed by a licensed veterinarian. 

  • “De-matting" or complete coat removal will dramatically alter your pet's appearance. This procedure may expose pre-existing health\skin problems for which Lovedog LLC cannot be held liable. 

Matted Dog Policy

Dogs with matted coats will reqire special attention. If the matting is minimal and the dog reponds well, we may de-mat for an extra fee. However, if the matting is severe, the safest and least stressful way to remove the mats is by shaving close to the skin. There are greater risk of nicking or scratching a matted dog during the grooming process. In addition, the skin may appear red, itchy and irritated due to the lack of oxygen reaching in under the mats. Lovedog will not be held responsible for any injury sustained while grooming a matted dog, including any after-effects. This includes, but not limited to, swelling, redness, ichiness, self-inflicted abrasions due to rubbing. A minimum charge of $20 will be apply for matted dogs.
